Hi there. My name is Dester Selby-Salazar, and since 2020 I've been writing and publishing articles on the world of soccer.

 

​Growing up, my parents always told me that I had a knack for expressing myself. Whether that meant winning an argument or presenting my own opinion, I loved to have my voice known.

 

Nowadays I have made a transition from writing articles directly based on play-by-play soccer, to writing about the socioeconomic impact of soccer; finding out how the world impacts soccer and, more importantly, how soccer impacts the world. In my opinion, this type of writing can change the world for the better, as it has the power to give a voice to those who don't have one.​I hope you enjoy reading!
